Designer and Digital Marketer

Job Description




  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in graphic design and digital marketing with proven results in digital marketing.


  • Proficient in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Illustrator or Affinity).
  • Experience in video production and editing (Descript/Video production tools).
  • Strong social media strategy development and execution skills (specifically LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram)
    Experience with social media scheduling tools & marketing project management tools.
  • Familiarity with electronic direct mailer (Mailchimp) and WhatsApp asset creation.
  • Excellent project management and time management skills.

    Key Performance Areas


    Graphic Design:

      • Bring the brief and concept to life based on Baker Baynes’ needs and vision.
      • Manage budget, time, and production constraints effectively.
      • Prepare mock-ups and present them to clients for approval before finalising design/concept.
      • Edit proofs to Head of Marketing specifications, obtaining signoff/approval before finalizing artwork.
      • Collaborate with Head of Marketing & EXCO, photographers, and web developers.
      • Adapt and roll out approved concepts to various media, above and below the line.
      • Adhere to Baker Baynes’ brand identity and guidelines, integrating key supporting brand guidelines.
      • Communicate progress and any project issues to internal and external stakeholders.
      • Work with external departments to extend concepts and visuals to other marketing-related material.
      • Ensure artwork is correct and supplied in the right format/sizes/colour codes before production.
      • Manage multiple briefs simultaneously.

    Social Media:

      • Develop and execute social media strategies for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
      • Measure and report on growth in followers, engagement rates, and platform-specific KPIs.

    Video Creation:

      • Develop and create engaging videos to support marketing initiatives and campaigns.
      • Measure and report on video views, engagement, and alignment with campaign goals.

    Electronic Direct Mailers & WhatsApp Assets:

      • Create invitation, newsletter, and campaign-related electronic direct mailers and WhatsApp assets.
      • Ensure alignment with campaign goals and brand guidelines.

    Analysis & Reporting

      • Analyse and report on the performance of digital marketing initiatives.
      • Measurement: Regular reporting on key metrics and insights
