Originally built for Civil 3D and now expanded to operate on AutoCAD and BricsCAD, Civil Site Design provides you with highly efficient and simple-to-use civil design tools for road networks, driveways, highways, road reconstruction, and any number of corridor-based projects.

In Civil 3D, Civil Site Design uses the surfaces and alignments in Civil 3D and can export surfaces, alignments, profiles and corridors and stakeout points directly to the drawing. Civil Site Design supports multiple platforms and multiple product releases and has been developed to operate on AutoCAD, Map 3D and Civil 3D from 2011 to the latest release, and recently has been updated to operate on BricsCAD.

Subdivision Roads

Fast, efficient and dynamic design of intersections, curb returns, cul-de-sacs and knuckles. Include roundabouts with ease. Have multiple design windows open at once. As you move a road, watch all the profiles update and the surface rebuild. Get volumes without effort. Click button outputs to Civil 3D and to USA style profile and section sheets.

Road Reconstruction

Design your sections to account for all constraints – included are tools to match to surfaces, other profiles, continue cross falls, match to horizontal constraints, and conditionally remove sections. Automate your profile design based on minimum pavement thickness, match to surface and more. Build your own models using any collection of profiles.


Site Grading

Grade parcels, building pads, detention basins, wetlands and more. Create gradings directly from polylines and cross-section assemblies, with simple corner cleanup tools applied at corners. Apply changing daylight slopes, apply alignment controls, and more. Design using a graphical profile design window and/or grid view design window. Fast volume outputs.

Highway Design

Built for large models and a proven performer on large-scale road designs including interchanges. Where you find performance issues in other software you’ll get lightning-fast speed as you make design changes. Dynamic enough to automate traditional intersections and flexible enough to model complex interchanges via a hybrid assembly and string-based approach.


Rural Road Design

Extending on the core road design tools, typical rural road design includes road pavement and shoulder superelevation as well as managing ditches as part of the design. Independently grade ditches, include cut-off ditches, and automatically remove them when in fill. Apply pavement and shoulder superelevation based on road design speed.

Surface Modeling

The TIN Surface modeling tools let you design whatever you want using any combination of 3D faces, 3D polylines, AutoCAD points and point files. This is a rapid display engine showing contours, labelling and analysis outputs in the drawing. Generate surface analysis tables and export to Civil 3D Surfaces. Generate volume reports and stack surfaces.
